Hosting Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving this year? Create a beautiful tablescape with these easy steps.
1.Incorporate Greenery
Create a modern and chic tablescape by incorporating natural greenery. This can be done by laying down a garland of eucalyptus and adding green and white pumpkins throughout the space.
2. Use Candles And Glassware To Create Dimension and Warmth
Place candles in delicate votives. (This is my go-to shop for candles.) For glassware, choose rich complimentary colors and select tones that suit the season and your space. Keep dishes white and it will be easy to use glassware to add color.
3. Add Height
Objects like three-tired serving stands, beautiful candlesticks, and flowers will add beauty and dimension to a tablescape by drawing the eye upward.
4. Add Edible Elements Throughout The Table Runner
Incorporate food into the tablescape by spreading fruits like grapes, persimmons, or satsumas throughout, or go all out with a charcuterie board (I have a charcuterie board blog post with tons of inspo here).
5. Place A Printable Icebreaker Game At Each Place Setting
If your guests don’t all know each other, start building connections with a Thanksgiving-themed game of “Find The Guest”. I created a printable game here with questions to keep it fun and relevant to 2019. This version is for Thanksgiving; this one is for Friendsgiving.
