If you’re amongst the 137 million Netflix subscribers, you have probably heard of the new show “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” and the KonMari organizational method. Marie Kondo, author of 2014 best-seller “Spark Joy” is a master at organizing and tidying.
The main idea behind the KonMari Method is simple: If it doesn’t spark joy, don’t keep it! If it does, honor it and store it properly.
If you haven’t yet, I highly encourage you to read the book, watch the show, and try organizing your place with this mindset and see how freeing it is.
I have been in the tidying up mindset and wanted to share some awesome products I purchased to help get things really organized. See this post for makeup organization products.
Closet Organization
I bought these tiered hangers use them to organize the same types of clothes (i.e. all skirts, all slacks, all jeans) on each set so it makes it really easy to know exactly what’s where.
Non-Slip Space Saving Hangers (3-pack)
Charcoal Fiber Clothing Organizer
I bought this storage bin to place folded seasonal clothes in and store at the top of the closet.
Comfoter Storage Bin
Kitchen: Fridge, Cabinets, and Counter
Lazy Susan for the cabinets/fridge
I bought this Lazy Susan set of two and used one to organize under the sink and the other in the fridge.
Snapware Containers
These glass containers are the best because they’re BPA-free (since they’re not plastic), they’re easy to wash, and they stack perfectly. Also great if you meal prep or pack lunch.
Marble Lazy Susan
We used to just place our cooking oils on the counter, but bought this lazy susan and it’s pretty and functional and makes the countertop look much more polished.
Adjustable Spice Rack
This spice rack is great because it’s expandable and the tiers keep everything visible.
Depending on your space, this type of spice rack may be useful as well.
Produce Keepers
Produce keepers absorb ethylene (which is a gas produce gives off as it ripens). These containers slow down the ripening process and keep your fruits and veggies fresh longer!
