“Moorea Seal” is both the namesake of the owner and an awesome boutique in Seattle, home to a variety of handmade and U.S.-made products. Everything they carry is on-trend and the designers all have stories. I love Moorea’s ethos and story. In 2013, after taking off as an online influencer and an Etsy shop, she decided to open a store. She is also the author of “The 52 Lists Project“, “52 Lists for Happiness“, and “52 Lists for Togetherness” (all of these make great gifts).

If you’re vegan, dairy-free, or gluten-free and want some seriously delicious ice cream, Franke and Joe’s is THE place to go. They carry a variety of flavors, some of which don’t even have any added sugar (talk about guilt-free ice cream!!) and they’re all amazing. Two of my favorites are “California Cabin” and “Chocolate Mint Brownie”. Their original location is in Capitol Hill, right next to General Porpoise. They opened a second location in Ballard as well.
Shop for: Jam-filled doughnuts and delicious coffee
If you want a delicious filled doughnut, this is your place. They now have 4 locations. The first is in Capitol Hill, as mentioned above. The others are in Pioneer Square, Laurelhurst, and the Amazon Spheres.

I’ve been going to Molly Moon’s since college and it’s always such a treat. Their flavors are delicious and handmade. They are so popular and have opened locations all over the city and one on the Eastside in Redmond. 🙂 I really hope they open more locations on the Eastside soon.
