Well today was 93 degrees in Seattle (another scorcher! Every time I hear the word “scorcher” I think of this. Who else remembers it?? That’s some good marketing right there. 20 years later and it’s still memorable based on just one word.)
Regardless of the outside temperature, I always dress for the air conditioned office.
I love neutrals. You really can’t go wrong with neutral basics, especially a crisp white blouse. So many people told me they liked this one in the photos that I wore today. It’s a very stark white and maintains its shape, while still being lightweight. The pants are Leith. I got them from Trunk Club (if you haven’t tried it, DO it. It’s amazing.) On most work days, I wear black pants because they go with everything, so this color was a one I didn’t own. Not only do I love the pants in this color, but the fit is amazing. They’re currently on sale for $35?! They feel like sweat pants and would be great for travel days where you need to look put together but still want to be comfortable. Combined, this outfit felt like a pajama set! Here are some options below.
