The weather in Seattle has been in the 80’s for the past few days and we’ve been able to spend way more time outside, enjoying dining al fresco, long walks by the water, and candy-colored sunsets, all of which have made me even more excited for summer! I love how a change in seasons calls for a shift in wardrobe, and the departure from heavy clothing and the transition to light pieces is always something I look forward to. I particularly love being able to wear shorts and dresses: as you can see in this post, it’s featuring two favorites. The two that I’m wearing were gifted from one of my favorite brands, Free People, and I can’t get enough of either.
The first one is the Hydra Skort. If you don’t own a skort, I highly suggest changing that because they’re so comfy and easy to wear. This one is especially gorgeous and the cut is so unique!
The second and third looks feature a white skirt with a cool zipper detail, the This Way Or That Mini Skirt. It’s made of a cotton and spandex blend, so it’s very comfortable with a tiny bit of stretch to it. It’s also very versatile and has already become a staple in my closet. I’ve styled it two ways here: The first is a casual look and the second is more dressy and was shot before we went out to dinner.
