Romper (under $35!) // Chanel bag c/o Trendlee // Dior heels – out of stock (similar)

In my opinion, there are few pieces worth spending a lot of money on. Styles change, clothes get ruined, and suddenly, your splurge bears only a semblance to what you’d originally purchased.
Cue the investment pieces:
An investment piece is something that will take your wardrobe to the next level, retain its value, and never go out of style. It’s luxury at it’s best.
Curious how to get them for less? Read on.
There are two investment pieces worth buying: bags and shoes. Both instantly amp up your look, are built to last, and tend to leave a lasting impression as well. However, they can be pricey! (Hence the term “investment”). But there are ways to get them for half the original price. Buying them pre-loved is one way and I can say first-hand that Trendlee, who provided the bag for this post, is an amazing option. They carry so many gorgeous bags and authenticate everything. If you have a dream bag in mind, search for it and see for yourself. They have everything (Chanel, Gucci, Celine, Chloe, Prada, Louis Vuitton…) and only carry the best quality. This bag (which is currently for sale) is in pristine condition; you’d never even know it was used. Trendlee authenticates everything and carefully packages it and sends it with the authentication card as well. Plus they have a great return policy if you change your mind. Also, sidenote, I cannot stress how bad it is to buy a fake. I am so against fakes. I don’t mean to sound like a snob or something, but seriously, don’t even consider it. Doing so supports such a terrible, unethical market. Not only does it devalue the designer and the market, but it devalues yourself (and every other authentic item you own!)! Instead, save up and buy the real deal.
