The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Guys, it’s that time of year again – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Nordstrom was founded in Seattle and having lived in Seattle my whole life, Nordstrom has been a part of my shopping experiences since I would go with my mom as a baby. I have so much respect for them as a brand; products aside, they are known for having one of the most highly-regarded customer care standards in the fashion retail industry. And while I love shopping there on a regular basis, as any savvy shopper, I love a good discount – which is why I and so many others look forward to the Anniversary Sale or “NSale” every July.
If you’re wondering what makes this sale such a big deal, it’s because it’s not a typical end-of-season markdown sale – it’s the NEXT season’s items. The sale features some of the best pieces of the upcoming season, giving customers an opportunity to build a fall wardrobe at a discount. After the sale ends, the remaining products are full price. Many of the items sell out right away, which is why I like to shop the moment it begins.
The Nsale officially opens to the public on July 22, but cardholders get early access starting on July 14 (today!). Prices go up on August 8.

My favorite finds are usually practical items that I know I’ll use again and again. There’s always great makeup sets from NARS, MAC, and many others that include quality bushes, shadows, or lipsticks and they sell out QUICKLY. Diptyque has a great candle set that I am going to get. There’s a timeless and work-appropriate LBD that you Fashion to Follow girls will love! I also have my eye on a pair of Stuart Weitzman booties that I know are a bit steep, but I will get my wear out of. Also, has anyone bought this? I am going to try it out!
