Every time I go there, I’m taken back by the uniqueness of their home products and leave feeling inspired to create. I read this article yesterday and am fascinated by the detail and amount of work they put into their store design and development. Their intent is to cultivate an inspiring in-store experience and they do an amazing job! There’s really no other store like it. It elicits impossible dreams that this city girl has never dreamt of, like living in a cozy cottage in a Parisian forrest. I could get lost in their books; their kitchen products make me want to run home, start baking, and host a dinner party. And the store always smells amazing. If you’re inspired by that scent, your olfactory memory will let you bring that experience home with you. This is their signature candle, the Capri Blue Volcano. It smells like tropical fruits, with a strong hint of orange. It’s fantastic.
